Shanes musical career began in 1989 playing guitar and singing in concerts at Grenfell, NSW. Between 1990 and 2001 Shane was a key member in several bands including Generation Fuse, Rock Amongst The Ages, Undercover and Back In Business playing in over one hundred venues from Wollongong to Wilcannia, Tamworth to Gundagai.
During his time with "Undercover" and "Back In Business" Shane also gained quite and assortment of awards for his solo achievements. He traveled Central Western NSW and followed the talent quest circuit where he won many titles in every talent quest he entered. Shane also made the Grand Final in the Toyota Starmaker talent quest at Tamworth in 1996, placing him in the top 10 amateur country vocalists in Australasia that year.
Whilst in Tamworth during the festivals in 1995, 96 and 97 Shane was support act for Troy Cassar-Daley and Jimmy Little at the Tamworth Town Hall. He was also a guest in the Celebrity Baseball Match held in Tamworth during the 1997 Country Music Festival, raising funds for the Tamworth Base Hospital with Celebrities including Tania Kernaghan, Felicity, Troy Cassar-Daley and Adam Brand just to name a few.
After taking a short break Shane returned to the music scene and launched his solo career in 2002. To date he has already played at a variety of venues and functions including regular work at Orange Ex-servicemen's Club, Wellington Soldiers Club, Parkes Leagues Club, Forbes Services Club, Condobolin RSL and the Lachlan Valley Hotel in Cowra. Other venues include Railway Hotel Parkes, Parkes Services Club, Commerial Hotel Dubbo, Railway Bowling Club Dubbo, Gulgong Bowling Club, Cowra Bowling Club and many hotels in the Central West.
NightOwl Music & Entertainment has grown substantially over the past four years and continues to grow not only in venue numbers but also stage production and repertoire.
